Toby Makes it Two in a Row
Kiefer, Shryock round out the podium
Doug Shryock rode his Epic and it proved to be the right tool for the job. He was able to easily hit technical features and create the advantage at the start. Bob Presta also made the front group, and the four riders continued to set the pace at the front. Eventually it whittled to three and Toby attacked coming out of the pit of despair. Kiefer came in a strong second and Doug was an impressive third after being bounced around in Helena. New team on the block MBW Racing had 2nd (Kiefer) and 4th (Presta).
Campbell races with men, Ingrid continues strong riding
Lindsy Campbell, hot off her UCI debut in Washington State decided to ride with the Men A group. Ingrid again looked strong and is poised for another top notch season. The Hellgate rider beat a strong ladies field that included some new faces.
Howard, Bad Blair, Sayler, and Mo take home first week wins
Travis Howard won a large B race and Blair Fischer goes two for two. Rob Sayler had to battle for the Master A win, but got clear with some good technical riding. Mo Mislivets delivered a nice victory in the women's B. It looks like all that single track riding on her cross bike is paying off.
